Our Beliefs

What We Believe

Our foundational beliefs are rooted in Scripture and guide everything we do as a church community.

The Bible

2 Timothy 3:16-17

We believe the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the complete revelation of God's will for the salvation of humanity and the divine and final authority for Christian faith and life.

The Trinity

Matthew 28:19

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are equal in power and glory, co-eternal and co-existent, and are one in essence.

Jesus Christ

John 1:1-14

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

Salvation

Ephesians 2:8-9

We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, not by works. It is a free gift from God, available to all who believe and receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Through faith in Christ, we are justified, regenerated, and adopted into the family of God.

The Holy Spirit

John 16:7-15

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, who indwells every believer, guides, teaches, empowers, and enables them to live a godly life. The Holy Spirit convicts of sin, regenerates, seals, and fills believers for service.

The Church

Ephesians 4:11-16

We believe in the universal church, the body of Christ, consisting of all true believers, and the local church as a visible expression of the body of Christ. The church exists to worship God, build up believers, and reach the world with the Gospel.

Baptism

Matthew 28:19

We believe in water baptism by immersion as a public declaration of faith in Christ and identification with His death, burial, and resurrection. It is an act of obedience and a symbol of the believer's union with Christ.

The Lord's Supper

1 Corinthians 11:23-26

We believe in the regular observance of the Lord's Supper (Communion) as a memorial of Christ's sacrifice, a celebration of our unity in Christ, and a proclamation of His death until He comes.

The Second Coming

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

We believe in the personal, visible, and imminent return of Jesus Christ to establish His kingdom on earth. We believe in the resurrection of the dead, the final judgment, and the eternal state of both the saved and the lost.

Statement of Faith

Our commitment to biblical truth

We affirm our commitment to the historic Christian faith as revealed in Scripture and expressed in the Apostles' Creed and Nicene Creed. We believe that the Bible is the final authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

Our beliefs are not meant to divide, but to unite us in our common faith in Jesus Christ. We welcome all who seek to know God and grow in their relationship with Him, regardless of their background or previous experience with church.
